INTAKE MANIFOLDS
Maxbore will port match the opening on your manifold or adapter.
Port matching means enlarging the opening of the plenum to match the bore of the larger TB. Aftermarket manifolds are generally large enough
and thus do not need to be port matched for Tbs that go up to 65mm. port matching is done at the
plenum opening. It does not include the runners. The cost for this service is $90 when done with a TB machining job at the same time.
Honda customers. If your manifold is from an Accord or Integra GSR, please separate the plenum from the runners.
The manifold has to come apart to prevent aluminum shavings from jamming the dual butterfly system. Please DO NOT SHIP THE ENTIRE MANIFOLD, ONLY THE PLENUM. An extra $20 will be added to the total
for this type of manifold if you send the entire part.
THROTTLE BODY ADAPTERS
Adapters like Carcepts can be machined to fit the larger TB bore. The cost for this service is $40
when done at the same time as a TB machining order.
